Speaker Sarah Johnson, CLA head of Licensing Our Head of Licensing at the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA), where she has worked for ten years. She leads a team of licensing executives and business development managers, supporting them in delivering effective licensing solutions to organisations across various sectors, including PR, pharmaceuticals, and law. Her focus is on providing tailored CLA licences that maximise value and demonstrate how they can enhance compliance and governance. Martin Stone, Direct of TANK Director at Tank, an award winning digital marketing and PR agency. He has a background in broadcast journalism, having worked for both the BBC and commercial radio stations across the country. Through his work at Tank, a PR Week Top 150 agency, Martin has supported hundreds of businesses and organisations globally. He has worked across multiple sectors, helping clients to develop impactful communications strategies, and ultimately make their mark. A big believer in helping Tank’s people to make their own mark in the industry, Martin has worked closely with Tank’s People Director to develop an extensive training and development programme featuring workshops with visiting nationals journalists, industry insights, best practice and skills swap sessions. Outside of Tank, Martin uses his PR and marketing experience to support the causes he is passionate about, providing pro bono PR support to the Notts LGBT+ Network, where he is a charity trustee.
